Painter, architect, designer, and cofounder of the Munich Secession, Franz von Stuck was influenced by neoclassicism. He reinvigorated classical subject matter for his own era, populating his canvases with figures from Greek mythology.

On a space-available basis, tickets may be available for purchase on the day of each lecture. Tickets are released first-come, first-served. Individual tickets for each Thursday night lecture and reception are $11 members/ seniors/ students/ teachers/ artists; $16 nonmembers. Individual tickets for Thursday and Friday morning lectures are $10 members/ seniors/ students/ teachers/ artists; $15 nonmembers.


In the event that all tickets have been reserved for a paid program, standby numbers will be distributed at the information desk on a first come, first served basis beginning one hour prior to the program. Should seats become available, numbers will be called out in front of the auditorium fifteen minutes before the program begins and remaining tickets will be sold.
